Trade volume with Sarajevo expanded

Bul­gar­ia's econ­o­my min­is­ter Dra­gom­ir Stoyn­ev and Bos­nia and Herze­gov­i­na's min­is­ter of for­eign trade and eco­nom­ic rela­tions Boris Tuc­ic signed on 23 June a bilat­er­al agree­ment on enhanc­ing eco­nom­ic coop­er­a­tion, the Bul­gar­i­an Min­is­try of Econ­o­my and Ener­gy announced.

The agree­ment will ena­ble com­pa­nies in both coun­tries to increase coop­er­a­tion and work on joints pro­jects in var­i­ous sec­tors of the econ­o­my, Min­is­ter Stoyn­ev point­ed out. He spoke high­ly of the recent alle­vi­a­tion in admin­is­tra­tive fees intro­duced by the Bul­gar­i­an gov­ern­ment, as a result of which Bul­gar­i­an com­pa­nies had econ­om­ised BGN 160 mil­lion. The coun­try's eco­nom­ic growth rates in the last three quar­ters exceed­ed 1%, and 40, 000 new jobs were cre­at­ed in the first three months of 2014 alone, he add­ed.
